MILAN, SAN BABILA – CURIEL

Curiel is one of the most important fashion brand in Italy, its atelier is located in an ancient
building in via Montenapoleone in Milan. The interiors have preserved the precious elements of the original apartments, such as: the coffered ceiling, frescoes and inlaid parquet giving a touch of everlasting elegance to the structure. The project of the achitects Bonelli and Radovic enhanced this splendour, alternating boiserie and stuccos with mirrors and brass to multiply spaces.
Materials and traditional shapes alternate with modern solutions and finishings to create a cozy and sophisticated atmosphere: brushed brass, leather, laqued glass, silk curtains, smoky grey mirrors and bright but invisible lights are the main elements of this contemporary reinterpretation creating a home-atelier. Walls are painted in warm grey interchanged with soft finishings, to enhance the carved doors typical
of Milan aristocratic houses. Custom-made furniture and decorations are realized by Italian artisans able to interpret typical taste and elegance of Made in Italy.
